The Cure The Head on the Door Album Art Robert Smith B&W Poster
Official-style promo art for The Cure’s The Head on the Door, pairing Robert Smith’s stark portrait with the album’s jagged hand-lettered title. A moody black-and-white piece that goth and post-punk fans will love.
Description
This black-and-white print recreates the official artwork for The Cure’s 1985 album The Head on the Door, complete with the jagged hand-lettered band name and title as printed. The original poster advertised the new album on cassette and compact disc, and that detail is kept here. Shadowy portraiture and raw typography make it an instant statement piece for fans of Robert Smith and classic alternative rock.
