The Sweet East Film Painting Boat Washington Crossing Art Poster
A painterly tribute to ‘The Sweet East’ that recreates Washington Crossing the Delaware with the film’s ensemble rowing an ice-choked river. The American flag flutters behind the boat in a playful art-history nod.
Description
This painterly tribute to ‘The Sweet East’ recreates Emanuel Leutze’s Washington Crossing the Delaware with the film’s ensemble rowing an ice-choked river beneath a dramatic purple sky. The American flag flutters behind the boat in a playful nod to the original masterpiece. An arty, offbeat movie print for indie-film fans and poster collectors who love a good visual pun.
